Clayton Theatre says they will postpone this production to the fall of 2020
"The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940" by John Bishop
Synopsis--December, 1940. A theater creative team gather at an eccentric financiers mansion in NY to audition actors for the teams newest musical. Throw in secret passageways, a German maid who is apparently four different people-some musical snippets to create an Agatha-Christie-meets-Clue Formula of whodunit parody. Watch the comic mayhem that follows when the Stage Door Slasher strikes again!
"...Bishop gives us a nakedly silly and relentlessly convoluted murder-mystery plot, with twist piled on twist till you have to give way and start laughing at the silliness...it's hugely enjoyable." -- The Village Voice
