By invitation from our sister village, Lamorinda:
Spirit of The Old West - Our Mission
The Spirit of the Old West is dedicated to presenting a balanced narrative of both Native Americans and American Settlers—depicting their challenges, their successes, and failures, their ways of life. These inspiring stories make up the larger American Story, and the Blackhawk Museum wishes to educate and entertain while preserving these important histories for future generations.
We will meet for lunch (at your own expense) at 11:30 AM in Blackhawk Plaza (restaurant to be determined). After lunch, we will walk over and meet at the Museum entrance by 1:00 PM to enter as a group for our private guided tour of the Spirit of the West Gallery. Should you wish to also visit the Auto Museum, you may do so following our guided tour.
COST: $8. Please bring exact change in cash only. The Village host will collect monies and pay for all entrances at once.
